Morris Lubricants is constantly developing and improving business operations to help provide a more sustainable future. This includes generating electricity from the solar panels located on the production facility to power the whole site based in Shrewsbury for the entire year. The business also invests in providing finished products in packaging that can be recycled or is based from recycled materials. There is also a company wide initiative to investigate and develop new ways to become more sustainable. The company has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum award for Sustainability.

GB Lubricants has actively reduced its environmental footprint through improvements in systems and processes including the use of solar-generated electricity and mine water heat provided by Gateshead Energy Scheme. Since 2019, GB Lubricants has retained the EcoVadis Platinum Award for Sustainability and also promotes awareness of the importance of sustainability programmes and strategy within the company, its customers and throughout the industry. This is mirrored by the growth in sales of the GB Lubricants range of biodegradable products.
